Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead daily shop operations, coach team members, and ensure a fast, friendly customer experience. You will step in as Manager on Duty, help maintain safety standards, and drive continuous improvement on the floor.

We provide paid training to teach the Take 5 way. Automotive experience is valued, but not required. Join a fast-paced team with growth paths from technician roles to leadership positions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment delivering consistent and exceptional customer service experience for every customer.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills and comfort providing direction, coaching, and feedback to team members.

Responsibilities

• Complete our Certified Technician training and lead on duty when required.
• Coordinate workflow and help the team deliver safe, efficient, high-quality service.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure services are completed accurately while reinforcing procedures and safety standards.
• Train new team members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and inventory counts.
