Take 5 is hiring for an Assistant Shop Manager to oversee daily operations in our El Paso shop. You’ll guide the team, ensure top customer service, and support technicians with oil changes and light maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit.
• Must be able to work in hot/cold weather conditions.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Check in with customers before they leave the shop to ensure a great experience.
• Assume the Shop Manager responsibilities in the manager’s absence.
• Run the floor, ensure all employees are where they need to be and customers are satisfied.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with counting and adjusting inventory.
• Train and develop subordinates and be a role model for others.
• Perform technician duties including oil changes and related tasks.
• Deliver excellent customer service, verbally and in writing.
• Process payments for services performed.
• Restock and maintain inventory; keep shop, office, and bathrooms clean.
