Job summary

Waterton is seeking an Assistant Service Manager in Nashville to maintain the community and equipment according to company guidelines. You will conduct preventative maintenance, fulfill service requests, and help maintain a hazard-free environment for residents.

The role includes supervising maintenance staff, scheduling preventive maintenance, and preparing apartments for new residents, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality of service.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well in a team.
• Problem solving and multi-tasking.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience in building maintenance, skilled trades, or comparable experience.
• EPA-CFC Certification is required; EPA-LBP certification is required for any property older than 1978.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and repairs in a professional and timely manner.
• Work with the Service Manager to provide supervision, direction, and guidance to all maintenance associates.
• Update, execute and document preventive maintenance schedule.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on central and/or individual air conditioning units as authorized by the Service Manager.
• Prepare apartments for occupancy by completing the make-ready process, including inspections and repairs.
• Perform regular property inspections of grounds, buildings, and common areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Inform the Service Manager when inventory of supplies falls below required levels and place purchase orders as directed.
