Job summary

Waterton seeks a Service Manager to oversee the community’s maintenance, repairs, make-ready, and preventative programs. You will lead the service team, ensure safe, high-quality environments, and uphold strong asset care with an ownership mindset.

The role focuses on accountability, problem-solving under pressure, and delivering efficient maintenance workflows to meet resident expectations and budget goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of apartment maintenance experience with 2+ years of leadership preferred.
• EPA-CFC certification required; EPA-LBP required for communities built prior to 1978.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the service team (technicians and porters).
• Oversee shop organization, inventory control, and tool/equipment care with OSHA compliance.
• Manage make-ready and unit renovations during high-turnover periods.
• Drive maintenance KPIs and 24–48 hour completion targets.
• Coordinate with Community Manager and Capital Team for renovations and capital projects.
