Job summary

The Uftring Auto Group is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to help oversee the service department, drive customer satisfaction, and optimize shop operations in Illinois. The role includes scheduling, parts coordination, and supervising technicians within a team-focused environment. We value experience, strong communication, and integrity, with a compensation range of $85,000 to $95,000 per year based on experience.

Schedule is Monday to Friday 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturdays 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience required.
• Dealership Service Advisor experience required.
• Minimum two years in an auto repair facility.

Responsibilities

• Forecast goals and objectives for the department.
• Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the department.
• Direct and schedule the activities of all department employees.
• Assist in hiring, training, motivating, counseling, and monitoring the performance of all service staff.
• Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers.
• Review and revise customer repair orders and inspect the quality of technician repairs.
• Understand and comply with regulations affecting service operations.
• Spend time as an Advisor to assist during vacations and rushes.
