Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Service Manager located in Largo, MD. The Assistant Service Manager will be responsible for assisting with property maintenance operations to ensure the physical condition of the community meets customer service standards. Key responsibilities include overseeing maintenance requests, coordinating repairs, conducting inspections, leading a team of maintenance technicians, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational policies. The role requires clear communication with residents, vendors, and team members to provide excellent customer service and guarantee the highest standards of upkeep and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and experience with property maintenance, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Ability to manage maintenance teams and contractors effectively
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with safety protocols and compliance standards
