Job summary

Fred Beans Ford of Langhorne is seeking an experienced Assistant Service Manager / Service Advisor to join our busy service operation. This role focuses on customer contact, documenting needs, and coordinating with technicians to deliver timely repairs.

You’ll work within a high-volume Ford service department backed by Fred Beans Automotive Group’s resources. The ideal candidate has dealership service advisory or manager experience, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

Fred Beans Ford of Langhorne is looking for an experienced Assistant Service Manager / Service Advisor to join our team! If you’re an experienced automotive Service Advisor or Assistant Service Manager looking for a busy shop where you can build relationships, stay active, and maximize your earning potential, this could be a great next step.

Our Langhorne Ford location is a high-volume dealership with a busy service operation and a strong customer base. Backed by both the strength of the Ford brand and the resources of Fred Beans Automotive Group, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced service team while representing one of the most recognized automotive brands in the industry.

We are ideally looking for someone who has previous dealership Service Advisor or Assistant Service Manager experience and can step into the role with an understanding of the automotive service process, customer communication, and the pace of a busy dealership.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the service process
• Greet customers, identify their service and repair needs, and accurately document concerns
• Work closely with technicians to communicate repair recommendations, timelines, and updates
• Review recommended services and repairs with customers and obtain necessary approvals
• Build lasting customer relationships and help drive customer retention
• Prepare and review repair orders for accuracy
• Monitor the progress of vehicles throughout the day and keep customers informed
• Help maximize service department performance while maintaining a strong focus on the customer experience
• Work closely with Service Management and the technician team to keep a busy shop running efficiently
• Follow up with customers and help resolve concerns when needed

What We’re Looking For

• Previous automotive Service Advisor or Assistant Service Manager experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of automotive service and repair processes
• Ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong sales and customer service abilities
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable prioritizing throughout a busy day
• A customer-first mindset and commitment to high customer satisfaction
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
