Job summary

Hair Cuttery Family of Brands in Burke, VA is seeking an Assistant Salon Manager to lead the team while still styling behind the chair and ensuring guest satisfaction. You will be the heartbeat of the shop, guiding operations, mentoring stylists, and maintaining a productive salon culture.

You will support scheduling, training, and brand standards, driving service and retail success while delivering a positive, energetic guest journey and upholding safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Current Cosmetology license for the state you’re applying.
• Full-time leadership role (minimum 40 hours per week).
• Stamina to stand for long periods and perform salon services with precision.
• Strong communication and a positive attitude are non-negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Floor: manage daily operations and guest flow.
• Coach & Mentor: guide fellow stylists toward goals using IGROW.
• Keep it Clean & Compliant: ensure state Board and OSHA standards are met.
• Marketing Pro: support local partnerships and digital campaigns to keep chairs filled.
