Job summary

Hair Cuttery Family of Brands in Sterling, VA, seeks an Assistant Salon Manager who will balance hands-on styling with leadership duties. You will act as the “Right Hand” to the Salon Leader, guiding staff, maintaining guest experience, and driving performance.

You will lead operations, coach a team, and help maintain compliance, while participating in local marketing activities to keep chairs filled and the brand thriving.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Cosmetology license for the applying state.
• Previous leadership experience is a plus, but a positive attitude and strong communication are essential.
• Strong customer service and sales skills with the ability to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations on the floor and manage the appointment book.
• Coach and mentor stylists using the IGROW model to reach goals.
• Ensure compliance with State Board and OSHA standards for a safe salon.
• Support marketing efforts to fill chairs through local partnerships and campaigns.
