Glow Brands' Sun Tan City division is seeking an Assistant Salon Director to uphold a high-energy, client-focused environment. You will mentor Tanning Consultants, drive store performance, and ensure operational excellence to meet productivity goals.

You will oversee daily operations, coaching and developing the team, while maintaining a clean, professional salon. This role requires clear leadership, a customer-first mindset, and flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Experience in management and/or sales preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
• Strong leadership and ability to coach/mentor others.
• Team-building and delegation abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in delivering a client-centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish goals and objectives for team members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve daily performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling top line revenue and expenses.
• Maintain staffing levels for productivity and customer service while controlling labor costs.
• Ability to work nights, Saturdays and Sundays as required to provide management coverage.
• Have reliable transportation to the bank as needed.
• Candidate should expect to work five days per week, ~40–45 hour schedule.
