Goodwill Industries of Lorain County is seeking an Assistant Retail Store Manager II to assist the Retail Store Manager in operating the store, overseeing staff, and driving revenue. You will manage daily activities, ensure customer service, and uphold store standards across the location.

The role requires strong leadership, retail knowledge, and the ability to travel between several stores within the GWLCO territory.

Qualificações

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; time management skills are required.
• Demonstrate ability to lead staff; to work with a diverse public.
• Knowledge of retail operations, sales, community, and customer relations.
• Knowledge of computer technology, including cash register and POS systems, and computer programs (Word, Excel), social media, and email.
• Ability to travel to any of the 7 Retail stores within GWLCO territory and cover any shift as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in daily planning, prioritizing, and supervising of employees; refer staff issues to appropriate person.
• Train and monitor store activities to drive revenue and ensure budgets are met.
• Ensure staff adhere to production guidelines for stocking, cleaning, and inventory processes.
• Assist customers and donors with quality service and maintain accurate sales reporting and cash handling.
• Maintain records and reports requested by management with high accuracy.
• Support loss prevention and store security measures; ensure a safe work environment.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; comply with regulatory requirements.
• Act as Retail Store Manager when needed, including managing budget and expenses.
• Perform administrative tasks and on-call coverage as required.
