GWLCO is seeking an Assistant Retail Store Manager II in North Ridgeville, Ohio to support store operations, staff training and customer service excellence. The role involves overseeing daily activities, ensuring sales targets and budgets are met, and stepping in for the Store Manager as needed.

You will build a productive team, maintain store standards, manage inventories and safety protocols, and travel to multiple stores within the territory as required.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; time management required.
• Demonstrate ability to lead staff; work with a diverse public.
• Knowledge of retail operations, sales, community and customer relations.
• Knowledge of computer technology, including cash register and POS systems, and computer programs (Word, Excel), social media and email.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Valid Driver’s license with good driving record and proof of current auto insurance every six months.
• Ability to travel to any of the 7 Retail stores within GWLCO territory and cover any shift as needed.

Aufgaben

• Assist in the daily planning, prioritizing and supervising of employees; refer staff issues to appropriate individuals.
• Train, direct and monitor store activities to drive revenue and ensure monthly budgets are met; develop action plans to correct shortfalls.
• Ensure staff adhere to production guidelines in stocking, cleaning, shelf maintenance, and loss prevention.
• Assist customers and donors in a timely, courteous manner while maintaining good relations.
• Ensure accurate sales transactions, secure cash handling and reporting.
• Maintain records; complete reports requested by management with high accuracy.
• Secure facility, donations, and store merchandise through loss prevention and security measures.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; promote a safety culture and training.
• Act as Retail Store Manager or Assistant Manager in absence; may manage budgets and expenses.
• Perform administrative tasks including safety, reporting, ordering, check-in and close-out procedures.
