Job summary

Goodwill of Lorain County is seeking an experienced Retail Store Assistant Manager II to help run the Lorain store. You will assist the Retail Store Manager in daily operations, drive revenue, and ensure a positive customer experience while maintaining financial viability.

You will train staff, oversee stock and sales floor activities, and ensure compliance with safety and loss-prevention measures. In the manager’s absence, you may assume full store responsibilities, including budget management

Qualifications

• 3 years retail management experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate’s degree preferred; significant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily planning, supervising employees and addressing staff concerns.
• Train and monitor store activities to meet budgets and revenue goals.
• Ensure staff follow stocking, cleaning, pricing and loss-prevention guidelines.
• Provide courteous customer service to donors and customers.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and daily sales reporting.
• Maintain store records and timely reporting to management.
• Ensure store safety and security measures across the facility.
• In the absence of the Retail Store Manager, assume responsibilities and manage budgets.
