  • Position: Assistant Restaurant Manager
  • Salary: $16.25 - $19.25 per hour
Reports To

Restaurant General Manager

Role Overview

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) oversees all restaurant activities during their shift, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional guest service, and compliance with company standards. They support the management team in staff and financial management, policy implementation, safety standards, and fostering a positive work environment. They assist in decision-making, training, and maintaining restaurant efficiency and profitability, and may execute limited GM duties as needed.

Essential Functions
  • Demonstrates self-awareness, motivates self and others, seeks feedback
  • Understanding of impact on Guests, Team, and Operations
  • Adheres to brand standards for service, food quality, and safety
  • Creates supportive environment, resolves concerns promptly
  • Respects employees, manages sales and labor effectively
  • Maintains cleanliness, standards, and brand image
  • Plans and executes shift operations efficiently
  • Leads with empathy, fairness, and develops talent
  • Uses financial understanding for business decisions
  • Ensures compliance with labor laws
  • Coordinates staffing, inventory, and administrative duties
  • Identifies trends and implements improvements
  • Motivates and trains team members
  • Supports hands-on tasks as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent, restaurant management experience preferred
  • Fluent in English; Spanish helpful
  • Previous fast food management experience required
  • Knowledge of food & beverage metrics and management systems
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations
  • Positive attitude, respectful, and customer-focused
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable to various shifts
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods
