Achieve is seeking an Assistant Residence Manager in Broome County, NY. This full-time, 2nd shift role includes evenings and weekends with hourly pay between $21.50 and $22.75.

The position focuses on training, supervising staff, and assisting residents with daily living skills within a supportive environment. Qualifications

• Associate's degree with two years of experience working with the OPWDD population preferred or an education/experience combination exceeding these standards.
• Possess a valid driver’s license acceptable to the agency’s insurance carrier.

Responsabilités

• Train, supervise, and direct DSP staff while on shift, reporting issues to the Program Manager.
• Provide training and assistance to residents to develop personal care and independent living skills.
• Develop and provide social/recreational activity opportunities.
• Supervise residents at the IRA and in the community as appropriate.
• Manage resident personal allowances per agency procedures.
• Intervene in crises per policy and provide first aid as needed.
• Ensure medication administration procedures are followed and documented.
• Supervise diet and nutritional needs of residents.
• Provide transportation as needed and accompany residents to medical appointments.
• Perform fire drills and complete required documentation.
• Be a role model for residents and staff.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for on-site or emergency coverage.
