Achieve in Broome County, NY is hiring an Assistant Residence Manager to support residents and staff on a full-time basis. This entry-level supervisory role provides training, oversight of Direct Support Professionals, and hands-on help with daily living activities.

You will help plan social activities, manage budgets and personal allowances, respond to emergencies, and assist with medications under policy. Schedule includes evenings/weekends; driving is required.

Formación

• Associate's degree with two (2) years of experience working with the OPWDD population preferred.
• Possess a valid driver’s license acceptable to the agency’s insurance carrier

Responsabilidades

• Train, supervise, and direct DSP staff on shift.
• Provide training to residents to develop personal care and living skills.
• Coordinate social/recreational activities.
• Supervise residents at the IRA and in the community.
• Assist with budgeting and managing resident personal allowances.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
• Oversee medication administration documentation.
• Manage meals, diet, and nutrition.
• Arrange transportation and accompany to appointments.
• Carry out fire drills and safety documentation.
