Job summary

South Carolina DMV (SCDMV) is seeking an Assistant Regional Manager to lead branch operations, mentor teams, and ensure efficient service delivery across the region. The role requires traveling throughout the Branch Services Region and statewide, including DMV Headquarters in Blythewood, SC.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and relevant experience, with strong leadership and training coordination skills. Internal candidates welcome; salary is nonnegotiable at $85,445 annually.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted with prior approval.

Responsibilities

• Assess branch office operations and provide guidance to management teams.
• Maintain documentation of branch activities and address performance issues.
• Coordinate training with Examiner Training Unit and ensure training compliance.
• Resolve customer service, technology, compliance, and administrative issues.
• Oversee performance management, expense claims, awards nominations, and approvals.
• Coordinate disaster response to maintain uninterrupted DMV services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
