Job summary

MRK in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support Hillside Senior community with 140 units. You will assist in leasing, certifications, and financial duties while maintaining resident relations and compliance with program requirements.

Responsibilities include property tours, lease administration, and coordinating revenue collection, with a focus on accuracy and timely processing. The role emphasizes service to residents in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in an office setting.
• Experience with Public Housing, LIHTC, Section 8 preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Show properties to prospective residents and conduct tours.
• Assist with rental applications and leases; explain rent and leases.
• Support annual re-certifications for funding sources to ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate, compliant property files and documentation.
• Coordinate timely revenue collection and accounts receivable procedures.
• Assist in bookkeeping: A/P, A/R, timekeeping, payroll, and reporting.
