Job summary

Enterprise Community Partners is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to maintain safe, attractive living environments and oversee operations in the Property Manager’s absence. You will engage residents, implement occupancy strategies, and ensure compliance with policies and program requirements while supporting vendor management and financial reporting.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organizational skills, and a commitment to serving older adults in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years’ experience in property management, leasing, or a related field.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • NCHM COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist) & TCS Certification or equivalent certification, or ability to obtain certifications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with diverse groups.
  • Ability to resolve typical operational issues using reasoning and problem-solving.
  • Ability to read English to understand policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; able to master new applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with customer service orientation toward older adults.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high call volumes.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with residents to address concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Execute sales and marketing activities to achieve occupancy goals; monitor market trends.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements; manage lease renewals.
  • Manage rents, delinquencies, and record keeping.
  • Provide direction to team in the absence of the Property Manager.
  • Support resident services initiatives and community events.
  • Prepare and distribute reports on operational and financial data.
  • Assist in processing property expenses such as vendor invoices.
  • Participate in required training sessions and keep management informed.
