Job summary

Mercy Housing in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in daily operations of an affordable housing community. You will deliver excellent resident services, coordinate leasing, and help ensure HUD and Tax Credit compliance.

This on-site role requires teamwork with front desk and maintenance staff, plus occasional extended hours to meet property needs. Pay is $21-$22 per hour, depending on experience, with benefits including PTO, health plans, and

Responsibilities

• Enter data in resident accounts receivable ledgers.
• Assist with resident records documentation.
• Collect rent and other income, make bank deposits, and forwards receipts.
• Assist with leasing from initial application to move-in.
• Respond to customer service requests.
• May work outside normal hours to support property needs.

The successful Assistant Property Manager will work with the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of the property. Strong understanding of HUD and Tax Credit experience are essential. You'll provide customer service to residents and visitors, and take the initiative and provide direction to staff. Work with the Front Desk and Maintenance site teams and coordinate resident engagement and events.

This is an on-site position. Page Commons is an affordable housing apartment community for seniors in Gilbert, AZ.

Pay: $21-22/hour, dependent on experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of administrative, office, accounting, or customer service experience.
• Property management work experience and knowledge of applicable local and federal housing laws.
• Knowledge of real estate property management applications.

Knowledge And Skills

• Adhere to complex regulatory requirements.
• Maintain resident account receivable ledgers under supervision.
