Job summary

Trinity Property Consultants in Houston, TX, is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations and financial performance of a multifamily property. You will partner with the Property Manager to deliver an exceptional resident experience, manage leasing, payments, and administrative tasks.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, customer-focused professionals with at least 2 years in multifamily management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in multifamily residential property management.
• High school diploma or equivalent; industry certifications (CAM, CPM, RMP, CMCA) preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and property management software such as Yardi/Entrata.

Responsibilities

• Receive, post rent payments and maintain financial records.
• Assist with collections and past-due balances.
• Maintain resident files and financial transactions, including NSF checks and rent-related entries.
• Assist with market surveys and competitive analysis.
• Show, lease, and assist with move-ins for prospective residents.
• Process rental applications and renewals; manage move-out documentation.
• Conduct move-in and move-out inspections and deposit accounting.
• Coordinate with maintenance and vendors for prompt service.
