Job summary

Richmark Properties is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager with daily operations and resident relations. This role emphasizes customer service, accurate record-keeping, and a commitment to compliance with Fair Housing laws and local ordinances.

You will assist with leasing, rent collection, and notices, perform on-site duties requiring a valid driver’s license, coordinate renovations, and communicate observations to the Property Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the apartment leasing industry; Assistant Manager experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Strong multitasking abilities and attention to deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to retain and relay information clearly and accurately.
• Experience with apartment renovations is a plus.
• Knowledge of ResMan property management software is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• English required; Spanish bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Property Manager with daily administrative tasks and property operations.
• Maintain exceptional customer service and professional communication with residents and vendors.
• Identify opportunities for property and operational improvements and communicate observations to the Property Manager.
• Perform various on-site duties as assigned, including tasks requiring a valid driver’s license.
• Ensure compliance with federal Fair Housing laws and all applicable local laws and ordinances.
• Assist with leasing efforts, rent collection, and resident notices as needed.
• Help track and coordinate apartment renovations and turn processes Use property management software (experience with ResMan is a plus).
