Job summary

Falls of West Oaks Apartments in Houston, TX is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to assist the Property Manager with daily operations, focusing on customer service, leasing efforts, and smooth administrative processes.

You will help with rent collections, renewals, move-ins/move-outs, and resident communications while maintaining accurate records and supporting a collaborative team environment at Tarantino Properties, Inc.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of property management experience.
• Leasing experience preferred.
• Experience with rent collections, delinquency management, and resident ledgers.
• Experience handling renewals, move-ins, move-outs, and resident correspondence.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Collection and posting of income within 24 hours of collection.
• Preparation and delivery of delinquency and three-day notices to vacate.
• Interface with residents to schedule renewals or move-outs.
• Participate in the leasing activity.
• File resident correspondence and assist in general office management.
• Prepare security deposit refunds or charges.
• Post vending commissions, NSF checks, and other incomes/expenses.
• Keep lease files current and complete.
• Take over the Property Manager’s responsibilities when the Property Manager is unavailable.
