Job summary

Fogelman is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager for Paradise Island in South Jacksonville, FL. The role requires at least 3 years in multifamily, solid accounting and collections skills, and proficiency in Yardi.

Leasing ability, strong customer service, and a valid driver’s license are essential. You’ll post rent, handle delinquencies, assist with leasing, and support property operations in a bustling, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as an assistant property manager in multifamily.
• Working knowledge of property management platforms (Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar, CRM).
• Property accounting, rent collection and delinquency management experience.
• Apartment leasing experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, relationship-building and customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Post monthly rent, application fees and deposits; record collections in the property system.
• Assist with leasing duties and renewals as needed.
• Collect monies due after move-out for damages or charges.
• Contact delinquent residents to collect payments; work toward $0 due by month-end.
• Prepare month-end close-out reports and occupancy statements.
• Stand in for the Property Manager when needed and ensure policy compliance.
• Support safety and Fair Housing policies across operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
