Job summary

Fogelman at Conwood Flats in downtown Memphis is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to oversee rent posting, delinquencies, move-outs, monthly reporting, and leasing operations.

The ideal candidate has at least three years in multifamily property management, strong accounting and collections, proficiency in Yardi, and excellent customer service. A valid driver’s license is required; the role includes competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as an assistant property manager in the multi-family industry.
• Strong knowledge of property accounting, rent collection, eviction, and delinquency.
• Experience with Yardi, CRM platforms, and Yieldstar preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Depending on the property, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Post monthly rent, application fees, deposits and collections.
• May be required to perform all leasing duties including renewals.
• Collection of monies due after move out due to damages, additional cleaning charges, etc.
• Contact delinquent residents via letters and in person for payment with a goal of $0 due by accounting month end.
• Filing eviction paperwork with property's attorneys and attending court.
• Moving out vacating residents in computer system to assure accurate property occupancy.
• Responsible for preparing all month-end close out reports including Occupancy month end, Accounting month end, and processing Statement of Deposit Accounts (SODA).
• Standing in for the Property Manager if they are unavailable.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Adhere to all company policies including but not limited to safety and Fair Housing.
• Other job duties as assigned.
