Job summary

Fogelman is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Assistant Property Manager for Arbors at Smyrna Apartments in Smyrna, GA. The ideal candidate has at least three years of multifamily assistant property management experience, strong in accounting and collections, and proficiency in Yardi.

Knowledge of CRM platforms and Yieldstar is preferred; a valid driver's license may be required. Responsibilities include rent postings, collections, move-out procedures, monthly reporting, and leasing

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as an assistant property manager in multifamily.
• Working knowledge of property management platforms (Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar, CRM).
• Property accounting, rent collection, eviction, and delinquency management experience.
• Apartment leasing experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Post monthly rent, application fees, deposits, and resident payments accurately.
• May perform leasing duties including renewals.
• Collect sums due after move-out for damages or charges.
• Contact delinquent residents to collect payments and reduce balances.
• Assist with eviction filings and court appearances as needed.
• Update occupancy and month-end close reports; manage SODA and related tasks.
• Stand in for the Property Manager when unavailable.
• Weekend work may be required; follow all policies including Fair Housing.
• Other duties as assigned.
