Job summary

Willow Bridge Property Company is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Chicago to support leasing operations and resident services across a busy community. You will help with move-outs, lease renewals, rent collection, and marketing efforts while coordinating with maintenance and frontline staff.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 1 year of related leasing or property management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and lead a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Flexible schedule including weekends.
• Must be able to tour the community and climb stairs.
• Driver's license may be required.
• State license or certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with move-out notices, service requests, and resident transfers.
• Implement lease renewal and resident retention programs.
• Manage resident relations, including calls and concerns.
• Analyze weekly leasing reports and forecast occupancy trends.
• Support marketing strategies, advertising, promotions, and publications.
• Manage rent collections, late notices, and postings.
• Review vacancies, make-ready apartments and models.
• Inspect property for policy violations, repairs, and landscaping.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
