Job summary

Dweck Properties in Virginia is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to oversee operations across leasing, resident relations, maintenance, and finances. Under the Property Manager’s leadership, you will help drive high-touch service and a positive community experience.

You will contribute to rent collections, budget tracking, and resident retention while mentoring team members and maintaining professional property appearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Assistant Property Manager or Senior Leasing Consultant role in multi-family.
• Knowledge of landlord/tenant, ADA, and fair housing laws.
• Familiarity with Yardi, Nexus or similar property management systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leasing and resident relations to support retention.
• Support bookkeeping and budget management to achieve financial objectives.
• Lead tours and marketing initiatives with the leasing team to generate new leases.
• Coordinate maintenance with the maintenance team to ensure property standards.
• Mentor and coach staff, and help train new hires.
• Step in to lead when the Property Manager is away.
