Management Services Corporation (MSC) seeks an Assistant Property Manager for a conventional apartment community in Richmond, VA. This full-time role supports the Property Manager to maximize income, minimize expenses, and preserve value while delivering professional service to residents.

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent; two years of college or related experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree and five years in property management.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Five years’ experience in property management is preferred.

Mansioni

• Participate in creating a management plan for the property (yearly).
• Assist the Property Manager in creating the annual budget.
• Maintain resident ledger accounts and manage collections and delinquencies.
• Ensure banking procedures are followed and deposits are made promptly.
• Address resident issues professionally and promptly.
• Maintain inventory of office and leasing forms and supplies.
• Plan and manage turnover processes with PM and MM.
• Assist with security deposit returns and on-site records.
• Follow up on service requests and resident satisfaction surveys.
• Adhere to policies and laws (Fair Housing, ADA, etc.).
• Take tours, sign leases, and manage leasing procedures.
• Maintain front office appearance and respond to emergencies.
• Act as PM in absence of PM.
