Job summary

Drucker + Falk, LLC's Woodland Creek in Durham, NC is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to assist the Property Manager in maximizing cash flow and upholding Drucker + Falk standards for the community.

You will handle showings, applications, lease renewals, move-ins/outs, maintenance requests, reports, and coordination with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth operations. This is a full-time on-site role with growth opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ work experience in retail sales or customer related service.
• Detailed oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of apartment rental and collection practices.
• Excellent customer service and sales/marketing skills.
• Organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to work well with others and independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Current driver’s license; ARM or CAM preferred.
• Knowledge of Residential Property Management.

Responsibilities

• In the absence of the Property Manager, manage the office and finances.
• Show apartments and process applications for prospective residents.
• Handle move-ins and move-outs and maintain resident files.
• Initiate lease renewal processes and coordinate with the Property Manager.
• Process maintenance service requests and maintain KPIs.
• Maintain resident relations and prepare weekly status reports.
• Keep advertising and websites files up to date; coordinate outreach marketing.
• Follow up on rental leads and assist with accounts payable/receivable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
