Job summary

Drucker + Falk’s Woodland Creek community in Durham, NC seeks an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in daily operations, rent collection, and building resident relations. You will show apartments, process applications, manage move-ins/move-outs, and prepare weekly reports.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills, with ARM or CAM preferred and potential for growth within the management team.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ work experience in retail sales or customer related service.
• Knowledge of apartment rental and collection practices.
• Excellent customer service skills as well as sales and marketing skills.
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to work well with others and ability to work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager in daily operations and ensure community cash flow.
• Show apartments and process applications for prospective residents.
• Handle move-ins/move-outs and maintain resident files.
• Initiate lease renewals and coordinate with Property Manager for approvals.
• Process maintenance service requests and prepare reports for management.
• Maintain advertising/website files and collaborate with other departments.
