WinnCompanies is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for Sen Lake, a 91-unit affordable community in Oakland, CA. The role supports the Property Manager with leasing, resident relations, rent collection, and daily administration.

You will assist with tours, applications, recertifications, renewals, AP/AR tasks, and financial reporting to ensure strong resident service and smooth operations, stepping in as Property Manager when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Up to 1 year of property management or related experience.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based apps.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to grow within property management.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of a multifamily community, ensuring resident service and efficiency.
• Assist leasing activities: tours, applications, recertifications, and renewals.
• Monitor rent collections, post payments, enforce policies, assist delinquency management.
• Respond to resident concerns and maintain positive relations and satisfaction.
• Prepare financial reports, notices, and other property documentation.
• Process purchase orders, invoices, and accounts payable transactions.
• Assist with operations, financial administration, and occupancy-related activities.
• Serve as acting Property Manager in the Manager's absence, as needed.
