Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations across leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident relations at our Avon, Indiana community.

You’ll assist with screenings, tours, lease preparation, rent collection, and service requests while ensuring compliance with all policies. A proactive problem solver with strong communication and organizational skills will thrive in our award-winning, people-first culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in property management, leasing, bookkeeping, or a similar field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with OneSite and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support the Property Manager in daily operations including leasing and maintenance coordination.
• Assist with prospective resident screenings and move-in/move-out processes.
• Serve as main contact for residents and resolve inquiries promptly.
• Assist with leasing activities: tours, lease preparation, policy compliance.
• Oversee rent collection and delinquency follow-ups.
• Collaborate with maintenance to complete service requests and upkeep.
• Monitor property performance metrics and report insights.
• Plan and execute resident events to foster community.
• Stay informed about market trends and competitor properties.
