Job summary

Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Avon, IN to support daily operations, leasing activities, and resident relations. The role focuses on maintaining high service standards in a fast-paced community environment.

The position requires a detail-oriented, organized professional with strong communication skills and experience in property management software (OneSite) and MS Office. Full-time with benefits, located in Avon Creek.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in property management or leasing preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient with property management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Property Manager in daily operations, including leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident relations.
  • Assist with prospective resident screenings and the move-in/move-out processes.
  • Serve as a point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with leasing activities, such as conducting property tours, preparing lease agreements, and ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations.
  • Oversee rent collection, process payments, and manage delinquency follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of service requests and upkeep of the property.
  • Monitor and report on property performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist in planning and executing resident events to foster a sense of community.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor properties to help position our community for success.

Assistant Property Manager
