Job summary

Partners seeks an organized Assistant Property Manager in Houston to support day-to-day operations of a growing commercial portfolio. You will assist the Property Manager with tenant relations, financial reporting, property inspections, and general property support across multiple buildings.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in commercial property management, familiarity with Yardi, and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset. Training in Claude AI tools is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field; experience may substitute.
• 3+ years of third-party, commercial property management experience.
• Experience with Yardi property management software.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and CAM reconciliations is a plus.
• Familiar with AI tools, Claude preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily property operations for a portfolio of assets (office/industrial/retail).
• Serve as a primary contact for tenants and coordinate service requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Support lease administration including abstracting lease documents and maintaining critical dates.
• Coordinate vendor services (janitorial, landscaping, HVAC) and ensure contract compliance.
• Help track accounts receivable/payable, process invoices, and support rent collection and monthly reporting.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, CAM reconciliations, and monthly variance reports.
