Job summary

HallKeen Management is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for Woods at Wareham, a 100-unit affordable housing community in Wareham, MA 02571. This full-time role ($28.00 per hour, commensurate with experience) supports daily operations and regulatory compliance under the Property Manager, with HUD Section 8 experience preferred.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, adept at leasing activities, income verification, and maintaining accurate resident

Qualifications

• Experience with affordable housing programs.
• HUD Section 8 experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn PM software.
• Independent and collaborative work style.
• Customer-service focus and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager with daily property operations and administrative functions.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive resident relationships.
• Assist with leasing activities, applications and move-ins.
• Conduct HUD Section 8 move-ins, including income verification and compliance documentation.
• Process all accounts payable.
• Maintain accurate resident files and ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel to address resident requests and property needs.
• Support the Property Manager in maintaining occupancy goals and efficient property operations.
