Job description

PhillyLiving Management Group is looking for a full-time condominium assistant to join our maintenance department. We are a family-owned business with more than 30 years of experience in Philadelphia. This job is on-site in Center City, Philadelphia, Monday through Friday, 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for building owners, vendors, and service providers regarding building-related issues.
  2. Build and maintain trust-based relationships with residents and board members through regular communication (phone, email, and in-person).
  3. Respond to and follow up on resident service requests and building issues in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Oversee maintenance planning and scheduling to ensure efficient operations.
  5. Possess a working knowledge of building systems and applicable code requirements.
  6. Process and manage maintenance work requests; provide assistance as needed to building owners.
  7. Handle inquiries (in-person, phone, email), including sharing community information, scheduling appointments, and coordinating after-hours maintenance.
  8. Preferred experience with property management platforms such as AppFolio or Yardi.
  9. Communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, coworkers, and management to exchange information and provide direction as needed.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned.
