Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager in the Greater Philadelphia area with at least 2 years of sitework experience in construction. You will oversee all phases of projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget, while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.

The role emphasizes cost estimation, contract negotiation, quality control, and leadership to guide teams through complex sitework and demolition projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years as Project Manager in construction with sitework focus.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, materials and PM principles.
• Proven experience negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers.
• Quality control expertise and adherence to safety regulations.
• Ability to estimate costs and develop project plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to lead teams.
• Proficiency in project management software tools.
• Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Overseeing all stages of project life cycles, from conception to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Developing comprehensive project plans, detailing project schedules and cost estimates, and coordinating with internal teams and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects.

• Conducting site visits and preparing detailed reports on project status, while ensuring all work complies with quality standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this exciting role, you should possess the following:

• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, focusing on sitework.
• Exceptional knowledge of construction processes, equipment, materials, and project management principles.
• Proven experience in negotiation and managing contracts with vendors and suppliers.
• Strong expertise in quality control, ensuring all project activities comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Excellent ability to estimate costs and develop project plans.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in project management software tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and work collaboratively with a team.
• A relevant degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
