Jobot, a leading sitework contractor in the Greater Philadelphia Area, seeks an experienced estimator to support a growing backlog. The role builds bids, analyzes subcontractor quotes, and uses HCSS Heavybid to refine cost projections.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction estimating (site work and demolition).
• Experience with preconstruction processes and bidding.
• Proficient in HCSS Heavybid or similar estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including site work and demolition.

Responsibilities

1. Preparing detailed cost estimates for various construction projects, including site work and demolition.
2. Evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure they meet project specifications and scope.
3. Using estimating software, such as HCSS Heavybid, to create accurate and comprehensive bids.
4. Working closely with project managers and other team members in the preconstruction process, providing your expert advice and insights.
5. Attending pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project estimate reviews.
6. Continuously tracking and updating project costs, adjusting estimates as necessary.
7. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
8. Assisting in the negotiation and awarding of contracts.
