Modern Remodeling, founded in 1990, is a recognized leader in the Insurance Restoration and Remodeling industry. We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our project teams and take the lead on smaller jobs, coordinating with customers and subcontractors on-site.

The role is hands-on, fast-paced, and customer-facing. You will help manage timelines, order materials, document progress in the CRM, and contribute to a smooth, stress-free project experience for

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with CRM software.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Able to climb ladders and inspect roofs.
• General construction knowledge.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers and subcontractors on-site to ensure smooth operations.
• Support project managers on new and active projects; lead smaller ones.
• Manage timelines and keep projects on track.
• Order, pick up, and return materials as needed.
• Communicate daily with vendors, subs, and homeowners.
• Assist with collecting payments and closing out jobs.
• Ensure all work meets MRI’s quality standards and insurance carrier guidelines.
• Document everything clearly in our CRM with notes and photos.
• Conduct final walk-throughs and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain clean, organized job sites.
