Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Construction team and support the delivery of multifamily projects from preconstruction through completion. You’ll work with experienced project leaders to help keep projects on schedule and on budget.

This role offers a pathway to a long-term career in construction project management, exposure to every development phase, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Early-career construction experience through internships or related roles.
• Understanding of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management software.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of multifamily construction projects.
• Review construction plans, drawings, and project docs.
• Assist with bid packages, buyout schedules, subcontractor procurement, and contract administration.
• Help manage permitting, approvals, and other preconstruction activities.
• Track project schedules, budgets, and overall progress.
• Partner with field teams to monitor construction activities.
• Assist with project reporting, forecasting, and cost control analysis.
• Support budget development and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and local agencies.
