Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the construction team through preconstruction to project completion for multifamily residential developments. The role emphasizes collaboration with field teams to keep schedules and budgets on track, and to drive on-time delivery of projects.

The position offers growth into construction project management with exposure to diverse development phases and coordination with contractors, consultants, and agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Early-career construction experience through internships, project engineering, assistant project management, or related roles.
• Understanding of construction processes, project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management software.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of multifamily construction projects.
• Review construction plans, drawings, and project documentation.
• Assist with bid packages, buyout schedules, subcontractor procurement, and contract administration.
• Help manage permitting, approvals, and other preconstruction activities.
• Track project schedules, budgets, commitments, and overall project progress.
• Partner with field teams to monitor construction activities and support successful project delivery.
• Assist with project reporting, forecasting, and cost control analysis.
• Support budget development and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and local agencies.
