Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Superintendent I to join our Construction team and support the delivery of multifamily and mixed-use development projects. This role offers hands-on field leadership, owning portions of a project, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality, and keeping projects on schedule.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field or equivalent experience, knowledge of scheduling, safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent construction experience required.
• Experience in multifamily, commercial, mixed-use, or residential construction helpful.
• Knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, safety, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented.
• OSHA certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day field execution of multifamily and mixed-use projects from start to finish.
• Manage designated scopes of work and own key project components.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity, and schedules.
• Identify and address site risks related to safety, quality, scheduling, and productivity.
• Collaborate with project management and senior field leadership on plans and schedules.
• Ensure activities meet quality standards and project specs.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate across trades.
• Conduct site walks, track progress, and document activities.
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive construction site.
