Job summary

The NRP Group LLC in Washington, DC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, scheduling, budgeting, and document control on multi‑family construction projects. Under supervision of the Project Manager or VP of Construction, you will coordinate resources, assist with bids, manage subcontracts, and help ensure quality, safety, and on‑time project delivery.

A Bachelor's degree in Construction or Civil field plus 3+ years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction or Civil fields preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing the construction of multi-family projects.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook; knowledge of Timberline, Bluebeam, Adobe and Onscreen Takeoff a plus.
• Driver’s License required.
• OSHA 10 hour preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in charting project objectives and plans, setting performance requirements, and selecting project participants.
• Assist in budgeting and cost control, including preparing scopes of work and reviewing budgets.
• Assist in procurement, scheduling, and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in developing effective communications and conflict resolution among project participants.
• Maintain the project budget, track changes, and update forecasts for management.
