Job summary

NRP Group, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination on multifamily construction projects. You will assist with budget development, bid analysis, and procurement, under the guidance of senior leaders.

The role emphasizes collaboration with project teams and improving cost efficiency while maintaining strict quality and schedule adherence across phases.

Qualifications

• Assist in preparing scopes of work and assist estimating with soliciting bids for the project.
• Assist in generating and reviewing project budget in preconstruction.
• Assist in generating assumption and qualifications statements.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining buyout schedule.
• Assist in reviewing and qualifying bids and consult with Senior Management before award of subcontracts.
• Assist in maintaining a budget and updating monthly reviews.
• Assist in ensuring budget accuracy and cost control.
• Assist in coordinating communications and resolving conflicts.
• Perform periodic site visits to ensure compliance with construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Project Manager, Project Executive or VP of Construction, the Assistant Project Manager assists with overall project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and document control.
• Assist in charting out project objectives and plans, setting performance requirements, and selecting project participants.
• Assist in bringing about optimum utilization of resources—labor, materials and equipment, and ensuring their procurement at cost-effective terms.
• Assist in implementation of operations through proper coordination and development of effective communications among participants.
• Assist in maintaining records and reporting on budget and cost-related changes throughout the project lifecycle.
