Job summary

NRP Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration on multifamily construction projects. You will assist with charting objectives, coordinating teams, and ensuring cost-effective resource use on site.

Under the direction of the Project Manager, Project Executive or VP of Construction, you will help control budgets, track progress, and maintain quality standards while promoting clear communication among stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in charting out the project objectives and plans, setting performance requirements, and selecting project participants.
• Assist in bringing about optimum utilization of resources—labor, materials and equipment—and ensure procurement at cost-effective terms.
• Assist in implementation of operations through proper coordination.
• Assist in development of effective communications and mechanisms for resolving conflicts among participants.
• Assist in preparing scopes of work and assisting estimating with soliciting bids for the project.
• Assist in generating and reviewing project budget in preconstruction and updating for monthly reviews.
