Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering.
• 0–2 years' experience in the industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction technology, scheduling and methods.
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage several projects.
• Familiarity with industry competitors.
• Excellent multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe and secure work environment by coordinating safety meetings, incident investigations, and maintaining employee involvement.
• Assist project managers and superintendents in executing the project life cycle.
• Coordinate planning for HVAC and plumbing installation to meet codes, schedule, and budget.
• Participate in meetings to support project and departmental goals.
• Prepare vendor and subcontractor purchase orders, submittals, and shop drawings reflecting drawings and estimates.
• Contribute to monthly reports and cost reviews, identify deviations from plan or schedule.
• Assist with estimating change orders, project documentation, and close-out including commissioning.
• Support the project team across the life cycle to build experience in the mechanical industry.
