Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods.
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Detail-oriented and able to tackle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe and secure work environment by coordinating safety meetings, incident investigations, and employee involvement.
• Assist project managers and superintendents in executing the project life cycle.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to plan and manage installation of HVAC and plumbing per code and project requirements, on-time and under budget.
• Participate in meetings to support the project and departmental goals.
• Prepare vendor and subcontractor PO, submittals, and shop drawings reflecting drawings, specs, and estimates.
• Contribute to monthly reports and cost reviews, identifying deviations from plan or schedule.
• Assist with estimating change orders, project documentation, and close-out including commissioning.
• Engage with project team across all facets of the project life cycle to advance career in mechanical industry.
