Job summary

ENFRA Solutions, based in Wilmington, NC, seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager through the project life cycle. You will help with pricing, budgeting, estimating, and coordinating subcontractors and schedules to meet safety, quality, and budget goals.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years of field experience, proficiency in Word and Excel, and the ability to read plans. A Bachelor's in Construction Management is preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years applicable field work experience.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be able to read construction plans and specifications.
• Thorough knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment and methods.
• Hands-on experience in craft supervision and labor coordination.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Well-versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
• Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining a safe work environment by coordinating safety meetings and investigations.
• Supports Project Manager and superintendents in executing the project life cycle.
• Works with the PM to plan and manage HVAC and plumbing installation per codes and budgets.
• Participates in meetings to support project and department goals.
• Assists in preparing vendor/subcontractor purchase orders, submittals and shop drawings.
• Contributes to monthly reports and cost reviews, noting deviations from plan.
• Collaborates with project team to bring projects in on time and under budget.
• Assists in estimating change orders and project close-out activities, including commissioning.
