Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Project Support role to assist our project management staff. The position focuses on coordinating tasks, communicating with clients, and supporting the Project Manager(s) through preconstruction to project closeout.

You will gain training through our company program and participate in scheduling, procurement, and project documentation to ensure quality and client satisfaction across multiple projects in Syracuse, NY.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining working relationships with clients, consultants and other agencies of the project team.
• Assist with procurement of materials and services for projects in progress.
• Assist with distribution of scope of work assignments for each subcontractor & vendor.
• Assist PM with subcontract creation process and subcontractor change order process.
• Assist PM with overall project accounting and contract change order summations tracking.
• Assist in procurement of contracts with vendors and suppliers.
• Assist in administration and tracking of project costs including updates, approvals and processes.
• Assist in coordination of all project team members.
• Assist in maintenance of project schedules.
• Maintain project communication hierarchy and protocol between project team.
• Review projects in field and perform quality control.
• Assist in scheduling and attend project meetings; assist in closeout procedures.
• Review submittals and manage timeline, procurement, approvals and records for submittals; maintain closeout item logs and transmit to stakeholders.
